Customer Review: "Wilby Wonderful" is a typically charming Canadian film, an engaging ensemble piece about a small, isolated rural town standing in the path of modern development. The writing is human and warm (even while dealing with sad subjects...) and the acting is a delight. Indeed, fans of film and TV will be... more info

Customer Review: What a heartwarming and wonderful movie for the whole family!! It is a story about a young boy who loves horses and hates the coal mine his father and brother work in. After his father is injured, the boy has no choice but to work in the scary and dangerous coal mine to provide for his family. He is... more info
Customer Review: Does'nt even begin to describe this imature film. Stupid Crusties in Europe fall for the B/S of a wanker, Harry, hereafter known as "Wanker" who is to lazy to work...so he gets everyone to do it for him. I grew up in the punk scene in the early 80's and I have seen my share of WANKERS come and go.... more info
Customer Review: Patrick Wilson and Ellen Page turn in haunting yet rhapsodic performances as a 32-year-old photographer and a precocious 13-year-old in this disturbing flick about a grown man with dirty secrets and the child whose genius and intuition bring about lethal punishments. Wilson's performance is... more info
Customer Review: My son is 5 and loves this movie. We rented it and he didnt want to take it back so i bought it. There are costumes and ghosts, but it is not scary. I think it showed my son that he shouldn't be scared at halloween because there are just people under all those costumes.
Customer Review: Not everyone will like this slow-moving coming home tale about three sisters and their dying mother and child abusing father who is now senile. Customer Review: The subject matter is obviously heavy and weighs the audience down as much as the protagonist, but this is a mostly successful (if highly earnest) adaptation of the famed memoir by prize-winning documentarian Barbara Gordon. With such a lukewarm endorsement, my five-star rating may seem unwarranted,... more info
Customer Review: I cannot say enough good things about this movie. True to the times and heartache of the mines, this is an excellent film that is a must have in every collection. You can easily watch this a couple of times a year and never be bored with it. It is more about the lives of people, not a horse flick.... more info
