Customer Review: Good and interesting story with absolutely top-notch actors, continually interrupted by obnoxious Broadway-ish musical numbers. Many of the performances were good, but many more were the type of stereotypical NY elitist silliness that I feared when I put this disc into the PS3. This movie has... more info
Customer Review: I have read the first couple of pages of the reviews and am surprised that no-one has yet made the comparison to Logans Run, the 70s sci-fi classic, where Michael Yorke is a Sandman, an emotionless cop tasked with killing "runners", people who try and escape the domed city the story is set in to... more info
Customer Review: Many reviewers have identified various weaknesses in the film version of Rent. These include overacting and lack of character development among the 8 primary characters. Customer Review: This movie isn't one of my favorites but it's not a bad movie. The acting is very good though I'm not too fond of the storyline though. Overall its an okay movie, just don't believe all the hype or you may be a little disappointed.

Customer Review: The Bottom Line: The ending scene is fine and the setting (an abandoned mental hospital) inspired, but the rest of this remake is tepid and uninvolving with bad special effects.
Customer Review: This movie was really good. Some people just don't appreciate these types of movies. After reading some of the other reviews, I can understand how some people did not like this movie. Some of the twists and events are fairly farfetched, but all movies are like that. If you go into a movie... more info
