Customer Review: I have always loved this tape, and now I am so happy I finally have it on cd. It includes some hard-to-find gems like: Sting's "Gabriel's Message", and Alison Moyet's "Coventary Carol". I love it!
Customer Review: Chrissie Hynde has a gorgeous-smokey-sexy voice -- it's unique and she's so cool. What makes "Learning to Crawl" so special for me is the bonus tracks ... "My City was Gone" rocks hard (twice) because of the bonus live track. They're cover song of "Money" (Beatles) is the best I've ever heard. If... more info

Both of my vinyl Pretenders albums, Get Close and Learning to Crawl, sound better. For a sampler, this is a good selection. But if you already know you like... more info
Customer Review: 28 years after it's debut, I still shake my head in wonderment when I listen to this monumental debut. The only thing different is that I now listen to it on compact disc instead of vinyl.
And when I hear the UK national anthem, I will always remember the Pretenders show I was lucky enough to... more info
