a great book to learn adobe lightroom with it covers all aspects of the system including raw development(always a problem) but not with this book.

I my humble opinion, this is the best book on understanding Camera Raw processing and gaining the hands on experience in a user friendly way.
Why? The book is written in plain straight forward English, with plenty of screen shots pertaining to the application interfaces. The layout of the book is very user friendly.
