Much more than a superficial diet book:
I wanted to learn more about metabolism and weight control. I learned about the author from one of her workouts DVD's and I wanted to compare her book to others I've read about the topic. This book has been a very good surprise for me, because although It is not an academic text, She tells me what I needed to know about metabolism in a way that I can easily understand. Absolute Eye-Opener, and, Has Delivered Results:
I was on the fence on whether or not to buy this book based on the reviews. But, I am so glad I did! For context, I am a 6' tall female, 33, and very active. I run half marathons, I weight train, and I thought I was very conscientious about my diet.
