This volume covers the most used steps in using Elements version 7.0 very well. I've been an Elements user since its inception. Not at a very high level, just to a degree necessary for good image production for personal use. As Elements takes on more of the matel of a full photoshop application, A good practical instruction book was needed and this book for dummies has filled the bill to a tee. Very informative, but a little technical:
I like the book but I'm having to read it carefully because it is very technical for someone who is new at this. I used to use HP Photosmart (very simple) and then bought PE7. However, I am learning quite a bit. I think it's a great reference tool. The illustrations are great too. I started with tuitorials, but once you close them out, you can't remember what to do!
