Excellent book:
This book fulfills its purpose as a comprehensive practice manual on Spanish verbs. It can be useful for those who are just learning Spanish or for those with a basic knowledge who wish to reinforce or practice what they already know. The concepts are explained clearly. Tips and usage points are highlighted in the explanation areas. Every chapter includes exercises and basic translations or crucigramas (cross word puzzles) with answers at the back of the book.
Great for intermediate learners!:
I have studied Spanish in high school, college and even spent a semester in Puerto Rico, but three years later I found that I was losing my Spanish quickly, and this book has helped to re-familiarize me with topics ranging from the basics (which needed repeating) all the way to the more advanced verb conjugations. I would highly recommend this book to intermediate learners like me, but I think if I was learning Spanish for the first time, it would be WAY over my head, so its not that great for beginners.... more info
great help:
This book is a great help for those of us who are language challenged. I went from being a very inexperienced spanish speaker to someone who can read and understand spanish text. As I learn more, I am getting a bit more willing to speak to native speakers and feel I am on my way to my goal of becoming bilingual. Great resource!
Very good resource, but watch out!:
The Spanish Verb Workbook is an excellent resource for review, reinforcement and practice of Spanish verbs; but be careful. It does contain several errors--typos and mis-matches (especially in the answer section). Except for the editing errors, it would received a 5-star rating.
