Not good for the Kindle:
I think this is probably a good book in paper format, but it just doesn't work well on the Kindle. Maybe language books in general are not going to work with the Kindle. The exercises are images so the text can't be resized. Some are very difficult to read and others are impossible to read. I also imagined that I wouild be able to enter the answers to the questions in the Kindle as notes, but it does not work because the exercises are images.
barron's french the easy way:
I am in second year French at a university here in San Diego. I have always disliked our text and workbook. Barron's books on French have enabled me to get the good grades I have received. This last purhcase, Barron's French the Easy Way is a pure goldmine for anyone who really wants to learn a language. I do not learn by taking in volumes of visual or verbal information, but I do learn with simple building blocks. (I am still quite intelligent, it's just how I learn). worth every penny!:
French the Easy Way is, in my opinion, a definate buy if you know nothing about French and are just starting out, or if you took it in school, totally forgot it (like me) and want to re-learn it. Basically, it's a work book and grammar book all in one. I am so glad I bought it. In addition to providing a pretty solid foundation for further study, this book is a breath of fresh air. Helpful Grammar Book:
I just recently bought this book and I really like how it explains the grammar in an easy and clear way. Grammar is something I dread. Things that I had a lot of trouble understanding in other books, were made clear quickly and easily in this book.
