Apart from the conjugated 501 verbs, there are additional 2100 verbs which are not conjucated but for which the 501 are used as a model.
this book is amazing:
I picked this book up for the first time in 1988 just before I moved to Guatemala for 2 years. Before moving I spoke only the smallest amount of Spanish. That is to say I knew general greetings and how to ask where the bathroom was. I studied this book every day for 3 months and tried to use each new verb in as many conjugated forms as possible as I learned them.
