FYI: Nifty is never chic.:

As a newly turned 60 year old I was looking for something (anything!) to help me fit into this ever increaseingly young world. This book was not it. Wearing suit tops with jeans doesn't look "cool." It looks frumpy. And who wears slips???? The author needs to update her thinking about fashion. The word "nifty" in the title should have clued me in about the contents. Nifty is never chic.

not so nifty...:

This book contains style info my mother would have apreciated at my age. I would not recommend it at all.

Good information well presented.:

Good information and well presented concerning updating one's image to reflect more au courant as well as flattering styles. Some humor thrown in makes it more palatable.

Don't buy it!:

Almost everything in the book is common sense! Also, this lady lives in a very different world than the common person does! Some of her comments make her sound about 140 years old! Don't wast your money like I did! Buy Christopher Hopkins' book!
