Sifting through reams of seemingly unrelated intelligence, CIA analyst Katherine Rule discovers a chilling pattern: an ultrasecret Baltic submarine base...a crafty Russian spy-master in command...a carefully planned invasion about to be launched from dark waters. Her suspicions, however, are dismissed by those higher up; her theory, they say, is too crazy to be true. But to Katherine, it''s just crazy enough to succeed - unless she can stop it. If she''s right, an attack sub has already penetrated friendly waters. Worse yet, the enemy has penetrated deep into her own life, so deep she can touch him. And in this game, one wrong touch can mean Armageddon.

An Oldie; But Goodie: Cold War Espionage:
If you like Cold War espionage you'll go for this suspense novel copyrighted 1986. An egotistical maniac inside the Soviet Union has plans for the Soviet takeover of Sweden. The plot is laid out very well. The dialogue moves right along. Mr. Woods wastes none of the readers time on unnecessary fluff.
It's an early Rule/Lee novel. I found she's a bit too much of a superwoman at times. The book ends well in giving all their just desserts.
It's a light spy novel that's a very fun read
Deep Lie:
Stuart Woods, has done it again, grate story with just enough in the twists and turns department to keep you reading, wonderful Characters with just enough background info on each. No need for endless killings and sex, in Woods books he holds you with the story.
Best Woods book ever:
This book is riviting and keeps the readers attention the whole way through. Mr. Woods has outdone himself in assembling backgound data and presenting it in a believable form as an integral part of the story. I don't use the term "spell binder" often but it sure is applicable in this case.
Happy Reading:
The book arrived in record time and in better condition than expected. A little junk food for my brain cooked up by Stuart Woods is always welcome and this didn't dissapoint. Although Stone Barrington is my favorite character and I haven't read many of his other characters, I think this one is good too. I think I LOVE Stuart Woods!
