I've read comments from people saying that they didn't like the book because Bella develops feelings for Jacob... but I loved that twist in the story because hey, it does happen!!!! She was completely broken-hearted, and Jacob was able to help her, at least, to stop being a ghost and be more human. EDWARD left her, and she mourned for his loss even while being with Jacob.
