Neither of the negative comments posted about this adapter are exactly fair. The first, which mentions they received the incorrect model number, is a vendor issue (as opposed to a problem with the product itself) so should have been posted in the vendor ratings section. The second review stating that the product is useless because it doesn't charge batteries is perhaps a bit "misguided." Silly product, not useful for most of us.:
The AC adapter arrived today. The direction were written by lawyers and are rather useless. Foolishly I had assumed that this device would charge the batteries in the lamp. Silly me: "Remove all batteries from the Light before inserting adapter plug." Since the battery cover in the MightyBright is ***very hard to remove*** I had wanted a charger. I must have batteries in the lamp so I can read when traveling and am not near a power supply. As a result I must be able to charge the batteries.more info
Shipped wrong adapter:
The adapter we ordered was number 37372b. The one we received was #36332. The adapter clearly states that it is not for use with L.E.D. booklights. It is also the wrong voltage. Since the shipping and handling will exceed the cost of the adapter. I probably won't waste the time and money to get a refund. I just won't purchase from this vendor again.
