Keeping it short and to the point - this really is a 'classic' John Williams masterpiece. The movie Jurassic Park itself is fun and a worthy Spielberg fantasy, but this soundtrack breathes life into the movie in ways that few soundtracks can. I can only wish that it gets treated someday the way the Star Wars soundtrack has.
Haunting music:
Such an excellent soundtrack! Number 7, the piano theme tune will take your breath away, while "remembering Petticoat Lane" is one of the scariest pieces of music you'll ever hear.
Best possible score for this movie.:
The music is as good as the movie and they are a perfect match. I cant imagine Jurassic Park without this music. This music has added a great value to the movie. This score is the reason I started an avid interest in movie soundtracks.

I honestly can't find the right words to describe how amazing this score is. The movie itself has been a long time favorite of mine since I saw it in theaters, and it still has a certain magic to it. John Williams's music adds to it in volumes. From the beautiful and stirring main theme that captures the grandure of the dinosaurs brought back to life, to the excitment of "Welcome to Jurassic Park theme" that stirs up the mystery for the listener, this score is as top-notch as the special effects used... more info
