Dremel Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool:
It works just as described. I bought for my dog and it will take some time for him to adjust to the sound and vibration of the dremel. This has many applications handy to own. Don't leave in charger for long forgot and too days later I removed and battery was hot.
Dremel pet nail trimmer is FANTASTIC!:
I wasted a lot of money on the Peticure and related products before purchasing a Dremel. It is VERY easy to use, nail trimming went much faster than expected, and I was able to trim four large animals' nails before having to recharge the battery. I am really impressed with this product. I wish I had known about it before wasting all my money on similar products. DO NOT BUY THE PETICURE (even if you opt not to purchase a Dremel)- they don't honor their warranties and the silly thing broke the first time I... more info

Better than a clipper:
We tried using the clippers first but I cut the quick once and started crying... So we read all the reviews and picked the Dremel because of its great reviews. Our puppy HATES it! We try feeding her treats while grinding her nails but she still squeals, squirms, and cries :( At least we don't cut the quick anymore, and it makes the edges nice and smooth. Oh, and make sure you keep the pads of the other toes away so the dremel doesn't accidentally rub against them.
