Get a Good Grip on the task at hand! After all, do you really want a buttery ear of corn falling into your lap?
Whether your corn is right out of the pot or hot off the grill, these attractive little corn holders provide a safe way to handle it. Thanks to their soft rubber handles, a hot ear won't tumble from your fingers onto your lap, no matter how much butter you've drizzled on your corn. The strong, stainless-steel pins ensure that ears stay put between the two holders and the tines don't bend.
The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip, flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably, the pressure-absorbing, processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while still providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

Corn Grips Hold Well:
These are substantial grips for sticking in the end of corn so you dont burn your fingers. The rubber ends are slip resistant.
Corn on the cob holders:
How can anyone eat corn without these. Less mess, no burned fingers and just an all around good product.
Too big for corn dishes:
Yes, their chunky grips make them comfy to hold. BUT, if you use corn dishes (you know, the ones made just for corn, so you can roll your ear in the butter, etc?) these will not work - since their so big they actually hold the corn high up out of the dish! If the ear can't reach the bottom of the dish then there's no butter/salt/pepper, which for me renders these useless. We prefer the Zyliss ones that also interlock (so no poking yourself digging them out of the drawer)! ETA 12/27/09: the link to... more info
Too Big!:
I actually prefer the old yellow corn holders. These are just too big and bulky. They are well-made but just an overkill on the size.
