i read the reviews and decided to try it inspite of the one stars. i did not get it off amazon but from sur la table $$$ and paid the msrp. i got it here because of their return polocy (if i hated it i can return it and get the roller attachment no questions asked and no return shipping). so i tryed the basic egg noodle they had in the booklet and it was just too wet. so i had to reprocess the whole batch with more dry ingredents. the texture is really meally and then i stuffed it into the extruder. it... more info

This is one super meat grinder!!! I am heavily medicated, so I can't use it at the present, but we buy top cuts of sirloin & my husband LOVEs to grind our own. makes all the difference in the world & you won't get cooties from the butcher's grinder that runs all kinds of meat risks due to some poor health regulations. Great product...except it did not come with the stomper. You need the stomper to make the pasta...so make sure that you get the pasta maker with the stomper.

I ordered this product before reading all of the reviews, and then came back to read them while I was waiting for delivery, I almost cancelled my order! I am so glad I didn't.
