excellent:
well designed, compact, easy to use. The nail carriage is plastic and may not survive a drop but the gun is strong with subtle depth of drive adjustment.easily correctly sets nails in fiber cement trim and siding . I expect this tool to perform even better in cedar and other woods.
This tool rocks!:
For five years I have been putting up clapboards on my house (summers only) by hand. I bought the Makita at a local Tool Hauz, which sells primarily to roofers and other pros. I've been using it for two years now, and have put thousands of nails through it without a malfunction. I strongly recommend the Makita AN611 to you if you own an air compressor and have a large siding project. It has already paid for itself several times over in labor costs vs nailing by hand.
Great product:
Great product. It has worked flawlessly for the last 2 months. Nice to use a product that works as its suppose to. The belt hook is a great asset.
Flawless performance:
I bought this siding gun after reading everything I could. Ablolutely no surprises! We've sided 2 homes so far without a hitch.
