The best made in my opinion:

I have these all over my studio. Some are over 10 years old and still work. I have tens of thousands of dollars in equipment plugged into some. From strobe packs to computers, monitors and printers. They're built like the proverbial brick s__thouse and I wouldn't consider another brand. Why mess with cheapies?

The Tripp Lite Isobar Ultra first drew my attention when I went to work for a local communications company. I noticed that in every one of our offices and in almost all of our customers' businesses, equipment was plugged into one of these puppies, from the smallest they offer to the largest. Name Brand Surge Protector:

Isobar was the best surge protector I could buy in 1989 with my IBM 8088 XT. I just like the name and figure you get what you pay for. I have had a few Wal*mart $8 surge protectors go out already. Yes I bought a Bill Gates system already.
