The Wine Saver is a vacuum pump that extracts the air from the opened bottle and reseals it with a special reusable rubber stopper. New version of stoppers:
These new stoppers fit, pump, and hold a better vacuum than their predecessors. That said, they have always worked as advertised, keeping things fresh in a canister or bottle; wine often lasting two weeks after being opened.
VACUUM WINE CORKS:
THESE EXTRA CORKS WERE ORDERED WITH A VACUUM PUMP(SEPARATE ITEM SAME VENDOR). THEY DON'T WORK WITH VACUUM PUMP.

Good product:
We lost some of our winer saver stoppers and needed replacements. I'm happy that the new design stoppers work with the old design pump, as other reviewers have found. This is a good and simple product!
