These three serving bowls can be used interchangeably to cook, serve, and store food. The set includes three Pyrex serving bowls (3, 6, and 10 cups), ideal for salads, sauces, or leftovers. Made from sturdy Pyrex, which can be microwaved or baked (but not under the broiler!) and is dishwasher-safe, each bowl comes with a tightly fitting plastic lid. Note that the plastic lids cannot be used in the oven, and are intended only for use in the microwave or for storage. This item was a gift to a young couple celebrating their glass anniversary. It is a practical gift because of it being pyrex.

Where have these been all my life!:

Absolutely the best bowls you will ever OWN! I bought 2 sets of these last Christmas and still going strong like the first day we had them. We have put them in the fridge, freezer and microwave and no problems what so ever! It's so nice to make a salad in the large bowl, put the lid on and just through it in the fridge. The also make very good mixing bowls.
We never had a problem with the lids warping or disfigured from heat. Still just like day one!

Pyrex Bowls:

These bowls are great! Just what I was expecting. Most of my bowls are plastic. (tupperware and rubber maid)They're great for storing leftovers,but I've read so much about microwaving in plastic, and how chemicals from the plastic may get into your food. I decided to get glass bowls so I can heat my leftovers without the worry. These bowls are practical and pretty. They also stack so they don't take up much room.

Super!! Sturdy, do anything and beautiful! We've only had them a few weeks and already have found countless uses for them. So practical and wonderful . . highly recommend!!
