Outrageous shipping costs:
After reading the review above, I double checked on the shipping costs, which were over $12!! Which is ridiculous on a $20 item. Thanks for the heads up! (I cancelled my order)
Carpet cleaner:
I am immensely happy with my purchase. What a pleasure to clean my carpet and actually see the difference! When I first saw the black water coming out of my carpet, I was in shock! I knew was dirt but I didn't know was that dirt! I just love my Bissell carpet cleaner and I highly recommend!

This cleanser is well worth the money, and the only one you should use with any Bissell Carpet Cleaner!! My carpets looked practically new after shampooing and I had not shampooed in years!
2 lousy bucks shipping:
The person who wrote "17 bucks for shipping" was either mistaken, or the policy has been changed. With the $1.99 shipping and no tax, this product beats any store I know of in California (where we have sales tax). This is just detergent. It makes dirty things cleaner, but won't give you x-ray vision. It works fine.
