Great waffle maker:
Our old waffle maker died and was reluctant to buy another inexpensive waffle maker. This one changed my mind. It makes great waffles in about 1/2 the time of the previous one. They come out very fluffy, but with a crisp edge. This is a great kitchen device everyone should own.
Great buy:
Easy to use and works fast and easy. Spray with non stick the first time you use it.
Works but I wish I had my '70s Toastmaster back:
This waffle maker does not live up to my expectations of Cuisinart products. However, it does work very well if you like limp, pale waffles. To get any crustieness at all, I set mine on 4. The recipes are good. Still wish I had my old Toastmaster back; it worked so much better.
A Little Skeptical at First:
I own a Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker and I love it. It performs very well and is simple to use. I do spray the cooking surface a little with a cooking spray but the waffles cook to perfection every time and it is not difficult to clean up. I use my setting between 3 and 4 ( a little more to the 4 side). So many people give this item a poor rating but I have to say that I really like mine; I almost didn't purchase it after reading all the negatives but I decided to go ahead and I am not sorry at all.... more info
