A measuring genius! Here's a laser-measuring device that can calculate length, width, area and even volume at the touch of a button. You can even measure long distances in increments of 50 feet--all you have to do is use the "Double Segment" program and you can stop and start a measurement. Zircon Ultrasonic Measure:
This measuring device is compact, easy to use, and uses one 9-volt battery. It has a limited distance range, which I have found to be about 20 feet. Beyond that, its reliability gets dicey.
Zircon Laser Measuring:
I am very satisfied. The fact that it does two way straight line eliminates the 50' limit problem. I like the SF and volume measurement as well. I was pleased to note that the unit's laser bounces off glass as well as walls. The only minor problem is that at 50', the reflective service must be significantly large; can't use a friend holding a note book. I highly recommend this item.
Great product!:
It's a great product and certainly does the job it's intended to. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the switch button is too easy to press, which means it can be turned on while inside a bag and waste battery. I got a little protection for it and don't have this problem anymore.
Quick easy but limited and not precise:
Product is useful and easy to use for quick/rough estimates. But it does not work well if the surface is not hard and somewhat smooth. it is also not very accurate. I measured a short space and I got a couple of inches error.
