Hot Handle Holders are Great!:
I actually ordered these to go with iron skillets I purchased for my daughters-in-law. I have iron skillets that I use often and wanted to try them for myself. So I ordered an extra set of the handle holders for myself. They are great! To think how many times I've burned my hand using a dish towel to handle a very hot iron skillet! Never again. You won't be sorry you ordered these.
Lodge Handle Holder Set:
Very nice set, but works best with smaller (10" or smaller) pans. With the 12" skillet, it is so heavy that you need to use 2 hands on each side to move it. It would be nice if the second piece was some sort of cover for the "mini handle" on the other side of the skillet rather than just two identical handle covers.
Attractive and Useful:
Would be difficult to cook with cast iron and not have some of these around. The bright colors are attractive and make them easy to find. Wish they were a bit more insulated.
Hot handle holder:
These are great. Leave them on the skillet, they are always where you need them; not like pot holders. Just remember to take them off if you slide the skillet into the oven.
