Designed to provide quick and easy access, the DUB-H7 offers seven USB downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals, devices, or other USB hubs. A single upstream port connects the DUB-H7 to the host computer or another USB hub, enabling up to 127 devices to be connected by cascading multiple hubs. Configured directly by the operating system, the DUB-H7 operates seamlessly with both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems. There's nothing to configure -- it just works.
Diagnostic LEDs provide port status for each port, as well as power status. Great Product.:

Pretty cool. I'm using it for my G5 since it doesn't have nearly enough ports for the cameras, flash drives, key drives and other USB oddities. It just plugged in and worked. That's really all I could ask for.

Cautiously optimistic...:

After two Belkins that were cheap pieces of plastic crap, I decided to switch companies and try a different USB hub. I looked at a lot of reviews, and finally settled on this D-Link (which also had a rebate that helped). I have to be honest by saying that when it arrived, I was worried, as it felt like every other USB hub I've ever wasted (...) on...cheap plastic. I was mostly drawn to the fact that it not only had 7 hubs, but that it was powered as well. Also, the vertical ports are MUCH better than... more info

Good Choice:

The key tests for me on this hub were: 1) Does it run my flash drives? 2) Does it sync my iPhone? and 3) Does it run my external hard drive? The answer to all three is yes! I'm delighted.
