The initial quality level seems very high. I haven't put them to real work yet but my guess is they will be long lasting

Great gloves, they will wear out quickly:

I love these gloves, they are so much nicer than a standard leather work glove that fits loosely. With these gloves, you don't lose the dexterity that you do with the bulky leather work gloves. You'll still be able to screw something in without having to take off the gloves, which you'll find next to impossible with the leather work gloves.
Love that they were machine washable. Hands do get sweaty in them but I never really noticed it, you don't get the clammy feeling that you get with a cowhide... more info

Best work gloves I've used, not to mention pretty inexpensive:

I work on film/commercial shoots where a good pair of gloves is generally looked upon as an invaluable asset. These are probably the best gloves I have used on set and I recommend them to everyone I know in need of a new pair. They're tough and fit comfortably, sort of like batting gloves with a more rugged edge to them.
