The Kinetronics Anti-Static Tiger Cloth (ASC) is a lint-free, anti-static microfiber cloth for cleaning film, lenses, glass, crystal and plastics. It has been specifically engineered for cleaning photographic films. The 10" x 18" (250mm x 450mm) orange cloth has stripes of effective conductive fibers knit every 1/8" or 4mm that dissipate or drain off static charges. The Tiger Cloth is not wet or "soggy" and exposure to air won't dry it out. The ultra soft cloth is so gentle you'll feel comfortable using it on sensitive negatives and transparencies. Hundreds of thousands of small pockets in the microfiber cloth aggressively capture the dust and dirt from the film.

cleaning cloth:
I have some old slides and they are dusty and have spots. I read in reviews that this cloth was recommended. I was very disappointed when it scratched one of my slides though it didn't scratch all of them. I would have to say to be careful and try on one that is not important. Even then I would be hesitant. Back to the drawing board as far as my slides. I will just use this cloth to clean my computer screens.
Cleans well, but hard to clean:
This product works great! With the cleaning solution I bought, it helped return my film to great condition. The only problem is, it's hard to clean itself. For that matter, once the cloth gets good and saturated with the grime on your reels, don't expect to be able to use it anymore. It lasts about two 7-inch 8mm reels.
Good cleaning cloth for film:
I use this cloth to clean old 8mm movie film along with Edwal Anti-Stat Film Cleaner, for Black & White and Color Films, 4 Oz. Bottle before running the film through the movie projector. This removes any lint as well as lubricates the film to eliminate scratches.
The cloth is a little expensive but the old movie film is irreplaceable and I don't want to damage it.
