Amazon.com Review
The most recognized periodical of American sports, Sports Illustrated has proved to be a fine marriage of top journalism (from the likes of Frank Deford, Paul Zimmerman, and Rick Reilly) and eye-popping photography since 1954. Cover stories range from the week's top games to a retrospective of the legends of yesteryear and their imprint on today's competition. In each issue, "Inside the Week in Sports" keeps the fan in touch with the major sports news, while "Scorecard" offers SI's spin on the week. Fans are always eager to dive into SI's hefty preview issues, a must-have primer for upcoming college and pro sport seasons, including the Olympics. What else would a sports fan want? OK, SI's infamous swimsuit issue arrives faithfully each winter. --Doug Thomas

basic:

The Sony is a simple basic radio that was exactly what I wanted for listening to morning sports and news while preparing for work, compact yet large enough to have a good sound. I would prefer a digital tunner but for the price it is a good deal.

SI:

I always enjoy SI. It covers just about every sport, and its "human interest" stories are interesting and well-written.

order process broke on my order:

The order process is not working for me.. I placed an order on 7/13. Order was confirmed with estimated delivery of 8/11. On 7/30 Amazon cancelled the order. I placed another order on 7/31. Estimated delivery is now 8/28. I believe my son will like the magazine if we ever get it..

Great price and quick start to subscription:

Said 6-8 weeks to begin delivery, and delivery started within 3 weeks! Great price for the subscription.
