If we had a criticism, it would be to wish only that Dremel would include the -inch drum for larger dogs like Sophie as well as the smaller one. Other than that, its a tail-wagger.

What a waste of money. My cats won't sit still for it - the high-pitched whiny noise of the motor made them freak out - AND you can't use it for any other purpose because you can't put it back together after you change the batteries.

This is a replacement for the same model, which I had for 5 years with no problems. I put the Batteries in backward and burned out the HI Speed function. It is marked, but still easy to do. I took florescent model paint & HI Lighted the +/- (White out works too). Learn from my mistake. I gave it 4 stars due to the mess it makes & short Battery life/ no Lithium Battery option. I have a 50 lb std Poodle & a 176 lb South African Boerboel (Mastiff family). It took about a week to get them used... more info

This is the best purchase I have ever made...anyone who has pets knows how hard it is to trim their nails. My dogs, like many others tend to move around a lot and would occassionally move and get cut on the quick. This product is easy to use and takes away the possibility of cutting your pets quick which causes bleeding. Every pet owner should invest in one.

My boxer is normally pretty skittish about getting her nails clipped. It's taken a lot of training to be able to do them at home. The Pedipaw was a joke; she hated it. I purchased this Dremel, thinking it was worth a try, and boy, am I glad I did! She's calm about getting her nails done; it goes really quickly, and for a big dog, does a fantastic job!
