Good For Cupcakes Too:
I purchased the large (aprox 3 Tbsp) and the small (aprox 2 tsp) scoops a couple weeks ago. I make a lot of cupcakes, and these have completely changed my baking. I use the large one for regular size cupcakes and the small for minis. Depending on the batter, I use slightly more or less than a full scoop, but it is so easy to portion out and scoop the batter into the muffin tins. Little helper, Big results:
I have arthritis in my hands and a son who loves cookies. Not always a good combo! I looked at the Oxo cookie scoops for a long time, but kept thinking that it was too pricey. NOT SO! I wish I had purchased it as soon as I first saw it because it has made cookie making a breeze for me. The scoop handles are easy to grip and they release the dough easily. Cookies Have Never Been So Easy!:
I LOVE this item! I don't bake often, as I get too easily addicted to that little sweet treat after dinner, but every now and then I get the urge to bake. Cookies, however, are something I rarely make, even though I have an outstanding gingersnap recipe. I have always found the "making balls the size of walnuts" tedious and boring.
