Just what I needed!:
I positively love these knife covers! My personal preference is not to have a knife block on the counter-top. I simply don't like the way it looks, not to mention the fact that it takes up prime real estate on my kitchen counters. When I recevied my new Shun knives, I instantly knew that I needed a cover for protection for their blades, and I also instantly came to Amazon. Pesky Poltergeist Proof Protection:
Are you troubled by dark spirits invading your home and slinging your fine cutlery at you from across the kitchen? Well, we all know how annoying that can be. (Been there, got the T-Shirt). Fits perfectly for the Victorinox 8in Chefs knife. There are two rubber pads that hold the knife snugly in the guard; they leave some type of imprint on my knife that I have to wash off before using.

Bought this to go with the Victorinox 8" chef knife, also purchased on Amazon. Fit like a glove and very sturdy and safe. I've used it for several months and like the piece of mind that no one will reach into the drawer and cut themselves on this very sharp knife. Purchased a cheaper brand that was a sleeve-type and knife did not fit right. Go with this one, worth the few extra $$.
