Short life:
I have had 2 of these and both have died in less than a year. They work great but not worth buying for such a short life span.
Terrible Purchase:
This grinder looks nice when it comes out of the box. It has a reputable name on it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work -- at all! I used it three times, and it performed reasonably well. The fourth time I tried to use it, nothing happened. It wouldn't turn on, no matter what I did. No odd sounds from the motor, no smells indicating overheating -- nothing, silence, kaput! Doesn't even pretend to work. Oh well, once bitten, twice shy. Sorry Cuisinart, you'll never have me as a customer for any of your products... more info
Great Product at a Great Price:
Got this for under $40 on Amazon and it is a great machine. Good grind, lots of settings, and I particularly like the large hopper and the feature that lets you pick the # of cups and push the button. Very happy with it.
Very pleased:
I was skeptical that fresh ground would be that much different. I am very pleased with this burr mill. The coffee does taste fresher and I love that I can use this mill for not only my auto drip coffee maker but also for my espresso machine and my percolator! Perfect!
