Does the job, but could be better.:
If you absolutely need a windshield mounting bracket for your Garmin 60 series gps, this one will do, but you may want to look elsewhere. There is another one available here at amazon that may work better... but maybe not, and it's a bit more expensive. As for this one: * Bottom Line:
* If... _IF_ you really feel you need/want a windshield mount... it seems this is as good as any. But it does have its drawbacks. * Pros:
* Seems sturdy and the GPS stays in the bracket very well.... more info
Great Price, But Fragile:
I used this mount for my Garmin 60CSx for about six months before the mount broke. What happened was the plastic grip over the screws the mount uses to lock the hinges into place broke when I over-tightened one. garmin mounting braket:
i am using this braket to hang the GPSMAP60CSX while driving.
it is not adjustable to turn the screen against my face it can turn upside down and rotate 360 but it stay straight.second problem i feel that i will broke it when trying to turn it is not a heavy duty braket.
Waste of money. Buy a RAM Mount instead.:
What a disappointment. I can't believe Garmin would sell such an inferior product. The mount is so flimsy that the GPS constantly vibrates while driving. Since the mount only offers only limited adjustments, I had a really hard time positioning it to a decent viewing angle in 3 or 4 different vehicles. The adjustment screws don't stay tight, which causes the GPS to spin 90 degrees. Of course, this only happens if the suction cup holds long enough. Most times, the suction cup loses its grip... more info
