B&D quick charger:
This charger works great - charges within an hour - it does detect bad batteries with a rapid light flashing.
Should have come with two color lights (red/green) because when put in a battery to charge it does flash and if you had not seen the rapid flash you might think your battery is bad. B&D should have included this as its charger since its batteries last 20 - 60 minutes and it takes 60 minutes to recharge and with two batteries at least you can finish a project at one time - the charger... more info
Great Product:
This is a fast charger, but more importantly, I can leave my battery on the charger indefinitely and it stays charged. With this charger, I always have a battery charged and ready to go.
Great Replacement for Original:
I purchased a Black & Decker Leaf Blower and Hand Vacuum so I had 2 battery chargers. Just over 1 year later both chargers were garbage. It seems typical that the original chargers do fail quickly as per other reviews. I purchased this charger and am very happy with it. It seems to have revived my battery packs, my Leaf Blower definitely last longer to finish the job and then some, as before a battery pack would barely last long enough to do half the yard. Black and Decker Fast Charger:
This product as operated as intended. It will fully charge a 18V Battery in about 90 minutes. This is great if you are working on a project that is time consuming.
