This was a wonderful movie that gave lots of information on Indian culture. It is worth the time to watch it and reflect on the history. Graham Greene is always a star.

Another great movie both Graham greene and Jon Voights preformence real shows how the white man treated the indians.
For anybody who like eather actor you will like this film.
Entertaining and educational:
If you enjoy Indian movies, then this would be a good one. It is part fiction and part non-fiction as Ishi was a real man. I highly recommend this movie. Graham Greene gives an excellent performance as usual.

When I saw this movie it was just by happenstance. I didn't set out to watch it. I was just bored and found it on the store shelf. I was so shocked that I had never heard of this movie. Being a Native American from the Oneida and Stockbridge Munsee Tribes I am drawn to movies about Native Americans especially those that are based on fact.
