Very helpful tool:

I read over a lot of reviews, especially the 1 - 2 star ones and decided to give this a try anyway.
We run a custom cabinet shop and work with heavy sheet goods like 3/4" mdf. We load our sheet goods from the
truck right on to our panel saw but even so working with these sheet goods is tough on our aging wrists and usually
one guy will work with the panel saw.

More useful for carrying panels than gripping gorillas:

I have to admit, I haven't tried this tool to see if it could effectively grip a gorilla, but I suspect they would be quite unhappy being squeezed between the plates. On the other hand, I bought this after I carried 43 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood up 11 feet to put in the subfloor of an addition. If my arms were just a little longer, I might have been able to handle the 4x8 sheets a little easier...

Great product:

I saw this item on the DIY show "Cool Tools" and I knew it would be useful to me to move sheets of plywood and sheetrock around by myself. I am not a contractor, but occasionally do my own work around the house. I used the product right out of the box and used it to move a 4X8 sheet of 3/4 inch plywood with ease. It easy to use, has a comfortable grip and holds without slip.

Great Gripper:

This has been a great tool for someone that is working alone. I'm able to move 4X8 sheets of OSB board with having to find someone to help me. I would be nice if it would grip thinner material but works well with 7/16 and up. it is a great addition to the "do it your self tool box".
