Great concept but badly executed:
About a quarter of the cheese end up outside the box so I have to grate over a plate instead of the box.
Oxo Good Grips is the best grater for any kitchen!:
This was our first Oxo item purchased. They've made a fan for life! My hubby is attending culinary school, but has been cooking for many years prior to formal training. He wanted a good grater that wouldn't take knuckles along with the food being grated. The Oxo Good Grips is positively perfect. The sturdy design will last for many years. Good, but.........:
It's a good grater, handles nicely while in use. Most of the food product goes in the cup, but while grating crumbs still fall on the cutting board, dish etc.
Much better than average:
This item is a bit more expensive than many graters but it is worth the extra cost. Sharp, stable, and easy to hold.
