The Olympus ME-15 Microphone is a small, lightweight tie-clip microphone that can be conveniently clipped to the tie or collar. The microphone can also be fixed under a jacket or shirt for easy concealment. The ME-15 is an ideal accessory for Olympus digital voice recorders. The mic's cord is 3.3-feet long and the entire unit weighs only 11 grams. A tie pin-type clip is also included with the microphone. Note: When using the ME-15 with Olympus Pearlcorder microcassette recorders, you will need the Olympus PA-1 plug adapter (sold separately).

Clear as a bell:
Works great. Only draw back is I catch the wiring once in a while and catapult the mic to the floor. Ooops.
Cheap Insurance:
I use mine with the Sony 720 only for meetings because the clairity of the recording
is better. It is well worth the price,especially if you plan to save your recordings
or burn it to disc. "Cheap Insurance" Also, make sure you use the mono to stereo
plug thats provided because it will only record on one track. So after you had downloaded a session you'll notice two separate files on the menu. USE THE PLUG.
Exactly what I needed:
I purchased 3 of these for use in recording conference speakers at our church. We use them paired with a digital voice recorder and sometimes a digital camcorder. In both applications the audio quality is so good (recording at 128kb with the voice recorder) that it's remarkable. It's also much clearer that the built in mic in both the voice recorder and camcorder. For a relatively inexpensive mic, I'm very pleased with audio quality.
