small in stature-easy to use:
Easy to set up---plug and play. Efficient and relatively fast. We use it at my office and it is much improved over the HP it replaced.

I ordered this unit to replace an older HP unit. It's twice as fast and has twice as many features. Large tray for paper storage to name few Once in a while, there is a paper jam, but rarely, and only if I try to load to many papers to fax. Don't be afraid to buy this unit. It will serve you well.
Piece of Junk:
Three months after I purchased this fax machine, I started to receive an error message "Unable to Scan" when I tried to send a fax. I called customer support and was told to power off and power on the machine. That worked for a couple of times, but then the message would not go away. The machine was receiving and printing faxes, but I was not able to send a fax. It was also printing fine. I am a low-volume fax user, I send/receive about 10 faxes a day on average. Good SOHO fax, copier and printer:
It was time to replace our old Panasonic fax/answering machine. I chose this one based on reviews and really wanted to get a laser printer. No thermal paper, film rolls, or inkjet cartridges this time I bought the 2820 along with the IO Gear GPSU21 USB network print server. So far, I like it. Footprint: Surprisingly, it has a smaller footprint than the HP Inkjet it replaced. A little taller but the printouts come out at the top so you can put a book or a coffee cup in front of the printer... more info
