Excellent product for the price!:
I have hated my closet for about 4 years now but didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a custom closet. It's the long reach in kind with minimal space. I purchased the Rubbermaid Deluxe Closet Kit just a couple of weeks ago and now I love my closet and have more space than I thought was possible. Great product, very easy & customizable, not so great to ship...:
I ordered a Rubbermaid Configurations 4-8 foot Deluxe Custom Closet Kit, as well as sliding wire basket to go along with it. First, the few negatives...at no fault of Amazon.com's. The basket arrived damaged, at a point that was very noticeable and not easy to fix or hide (the plastic caps that are built-in to the ends of the grab bar to slide the drawer out, one was cracked...or more crunched beyond belief). I like the design concept and the way my clothes are organized after I finally got it assembled. Some of the issues I came across during the design planning and assembly: 1) Make sure you have a closet design layout prior to purchase. On the Rubbermaid Configurations website they showed a 12 ft closet system that nobody sells. I couldn't use the design program on the Rubbermaid website and I needed to purchase two kits for my 11 foot closet. The best way I found to do this was to get both the 4-8ft... more info
