Works great if you press firmly:
I tested it using Arrow T50 5/16 inch staples in OAK wood. It would drive these staples flush to the surface if I put at least 10 lbs of pressure on stapler and had it level. Level being defined as the back of the stapler touching the wood too. If I lifted the back of the stapler off the wood it wouldn't drive the staple flush. One of us is an idiot.:
I bought this staple gun at a local store and it is pointless. Either I'm seriously stupid and missing a step, or this thing doesn't work right. I.E., the instructions say to use "high power" for harder wood, but gives NO CLUE how to put the unit on "high power." Turns out, after studying the three or... more info
Performed Very Well:
I was quite skeptical about trying this stapler after seeing the other reviews BUT have been very pleased with its performance. I have only used it for stapling so I cannot comment on how it performs with brads.
