Works with MacBook flawlessly. Of course, no audio. But we all new that ;)
You'll also need an HDMI-M to HDMI-M cable if your connecting to an HDMI source. Well worth the $$.

The adapter works fine, and the device is well built. This adapter is used to link up my PC computer to my HD TV, with the use of a HDMI-to-HDMI cable. I often utilize this setup to share my viewing with the whole family, where everyone can sit comfortably in front of the big screen TV (vs just seeing movies on my computer, by myself). I'm using this on a Belkin 4-port DVI KVM and it works great to switch between computer and DirecTV HD.

This is one of those things that either works or doesn't. In my case the two I bought worked. C'est bon!
