I was done trying these kind of products because my radio picks up a lot of static. The radio is great and can reach far when it comes to radio stations. However, I thought I could give it one more try and voila! This is the BEST product out there. I went to big cities and in the country and my iPod never gets interfared with statics or radio statios. It feels like it creates a capsule on its own to play my iPod. You won't be dissapointed.
Allows easy way to listen to your Ipod in the car:
This worked well when I was in cars that did not have an Ipod connection. It is, however, frustrating to use in areas where there are a lot of radio stations (e.g., NYC). Also, when traveling from city to city, the available frequencies change quite a bit, so you have to change the settings. That being said, this was a great way to listen to my Ipod until I got a car with an Ipod connection.
ipod fm transmitter:
this product works...
be aware, though, of the location of ur vehicle's radio antenna...
my honda pilot antenna is in the rear side window -- about as far from the radio as u can get...
as a result, the limited transmission power of this product struggles to deliver a static free signal...
if the antenna is closer to the front of the vehicle, u'll love this product...
Great product, although not all it's hyped up to be.:
Let me say that generally, this product works great for the features that work. Pros: Ease of use (very easy to find a clear station and select it)
Strength of signal Cons: Doesn't actually charge newer iPods/iPhones
Sometimes will just freak out and send shrieks of alien laser beam noise
Body is made of very flimsy weak plastic that can cause the electronic components to get shaken up easily.
