Does the job:

The Shed Ender really works. It gets all the loose, dead hair off my cat and has decreased the problem with cat hair all over everything.

shed free:

this is perfect!!! I use it for my ferret and my jack russell terrier and it makes their coat soft and shed free.

doesn't work.:

I have a pug and bought this in hopes of helping with his shedding problem. For anyone who doesn't know pugs shed A LOT! I could brush him for hours and still be pulling loose hair off of him so I was hoping for a product that might help. This product was completely useless. It didn't pull off any lose hair and he hated it more then the brush. I gave it a couple tries before I just gave up and went back to the usual brush. I don't know if it would work better on dogs with thicker coats but it was completely... more info

not just for cats and dogs:

I have a mini Holland Lops bunny. He has longer fur and this brush is amazing. Yes the bristle area is rather small, but so is my bunny, so it works. There is somewhat of a trick to using the brush efficiently, mostly in the angle as others have said. A word of caution: sometimes the brush will pull fur that isn't exactly loose. He had a couple of small gaps as a result, but otherwise, this is a great product for my purposes.
