Call Waiting Caller ID includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent 100-station speed dial. This set includes two handsets; the system is expandable to a total of ten. You can transfer incoming calls between each handset, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Great buy:
I own a business and it gets loud in there and with these phones you can hear very clearly and it very simple to use. Love it
Be careful of static electricity:
I live in an area of the country that has very low humidity during the winter and so there is a great deal of static electricity. I have owned this phone for about a year and now that winter is here I am noticing a major engineering flaw and that is with static shocks. Even if the handset is in the base unit, any static shock will cause the handset to perform either a complete power-on reset or just interfere with the connection enough so that I cannot answer the phone and miss the call. Horrible product, didn't last a year:
These were great at first, but if you plan to use the functions, (ie. phonebook, caller id, anything with the arrows) don't plan on using long. On all three of our handsets, the arrows just stopped working. I called Uniden and waited on hold for 31 mins. To which they say there is nothing they can do, we have to replace the units ourselves. Their warranty is only good for 12 months. So if you are 12 months and 1 day over, you are basically out of luck. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A nice little phone:
These are nice little phones. The answering machine works easily and has intuitive controls. The base station speaker phone also works well. Also do not disturb mode, a nice feature when you want some down time.
