Great mop and duster!:
A friend of mine owned the Sh-Mop and I used to borrow his. I finally bought my own two years ago. It is a great invention and well made. The low profile, the swivel action, the large surface and the removable covers make this a great tool! And the telescoping handle is also a huge plus! I use it to dust my wood floors (adding the cotton looped duster) and mopping my kitchen floors. I have pets, and the duster is a must have. Where, oh where has this thing been all my life? Mopping is my #1 most hated chore, until now. It became absolutely torturous when we moved into a 1600 sq ft base house that is ALL TILE! Yep, every freakin' room! I tried using the professional yarn mops, but they are impossible to clean. If you wash them by hand, they aren't clean enough. When I read all the wonderful reviews for the Sh-Mop, I decided to give it a try. Well it may be the greatest thing since sliced bread for hardwood floors, but when it comes to mopping a large kitchen in a country home with men and pets, give me an old-fashioned bucket and mop any day. I really don't see how constantly wetting cloth covers, wringing them out and applying cleaner saves time. I love my Sh-Mop!:
I purchased a Sh-Mop after seeing my housekeeping company use them. I love it because it is the easiest way to spot clean my stained concrete floor. The Sh-Mop itself has a built-in scrubby pad on it; when you put a damp terrycloth cover over it and spray a little cleaner on the cloth, it gets everything off the floor, and covers a big space in a short amount of time.
