noisy fan:
I have had mine for about a year. The cooling fan has developed a noisy fan bearing that is very loud when spooling up for awhile and then eventually quiets down some. Otherwise I have enjoyed the lithium ion batteries and the charger has worked well.
Makita lithium charger:
Charger works well, charges rapidly BUT don't drop it... it is VERY delicate and will cease to function if droped and is expensive to replace. Only works with Makita lithium ion batteries.
