BEST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT:
FOR THOSE OF US WHO ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS, THIS ITEM IS A MUST. YOU CAN JUST WAVE YOUR HAND, EVEN WHILE HOLDING A PAPER PLATE OR GLASS, OVER THE TOP AND IT OPENS AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DO NOTHING BECAUSE IT WILL CLOSE ON ITS OWN. I WISH I HAD ONE IN EVERY ROOM IN MY HOUSE. THIS THING HAS

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I really love this trashcan so I thought I would take a few minutes to do so. $65 is, in my opinion, a lot of money for a trashcan, but I just remodeled my bathroom and decided to splurge. I should actually give this item 4 1/2 stars. The deduction of 1/2 star because this model does not have the option of AC power. Wow, I absolutely love this garbage can. Weird, huh? But I never liked the step cans because they always break, and the prices for the "upscale" step models are ridiculously priced. This looks nice and sleek and really works! Very cool and really nice. You do have to wait a beat so the electronic eye sees you, but it really helps, especially if you are cooking and don't want to get yucky from touching the garbage can lid.
