The Naruto Ninja Challenge playset, inspired by Shonen Jump?s Naruto, the hit TV show, includes interactive glovesand chakra launcher. Kids can race the clock, battle friends or practice ninja training with the chakra launcher. Includes thirty ninja stars and two gloves!
The Naruto Ninja Challenge is a game where players try to master a series of hand gestures in order to control the flow of plastic poker chip-like disks flying out of a wireless base unit. It's based on a popular Japanese comic book and cartoon series. The game comes with two gloves, though only one has sensors, two of which are located in the top of the glove and the other two are located in the palm. By touching these sensors with your other hand or against your body and building these gestures into combinations, the voice box on the glove with congratulate or admonish you. The glove communicates wirelessly to the base and so directs its movement. Get the hand signs right and the base will launch the discs around the room. If you get the sequences wrong, however, the base will turn and launch discs in your direction. Either way, you're going to be picking up a lot of these little disks. The games included are skill-level variations on making combinations during a time limit and executing specific combinations called out by the voice box. There's a bit of light assembly at the beginning and a test routine to make sure the glove is properly communicating with the base. We found it difficult to keep them in communication. This game will likely only be fun for devoted Naruto fans. It's powered by four AAA-size batteries in the glove and four AA-size batteries in the base, which are not included. Inside the box you'll find the base, a pedestal, four sheets of ice flames, two gloves and 30 disks. --Porter B. Hall

Eh...:
I my son seemed to enjoy the product for a couple days (the length of his attention span). However, the toy is difficult to understand. It is hard to figure out how to work the thing. I mean, it could just be me that I am not good with electronical games, but we both tried to figure out how to work it. Also, the sides fall off very easily and the discs get stuck between the sides. Other than that, my son had a good time playing. But he did lose interest quickly because it is hard to figure out how to play... more info
Dangerous - Complicated - Ridiculous Toy:
Sorry folks
this one is a pain to figure out before getting knocked out by a flying plastic disc with scratch prone edges. Great for taking out an eye or blinding the user permanently.
NOT suggested for kids without protective face gear and an interpretor of the directions wlll need to be present at all times. Parents will be spending more time with it than the kids trying to get it to work properly.
My 6 year old was done with it as soon as I figured it out. the upside
At least... more info
Pretty good:
I really love this toy. It's fun to practice your jutsus in it without looking stupid, and I like to dodge the discs when they come at me too. The only thing I don't like about it is that the sound effects aren't exactly welcome, but other than that, it's a great toy. I reccomend it. =)

Naruto Chakra:
Both my eight and six year boys loved it at first. They played with it for about 1-2 weeks. My eight year old soon mastered all the levels and is bored with the game. Both my boys are tired of trying to find the little blue disks that get scattered all over the room.
